Privacy Policy

Pomoseed keeps the free timer anonymous, supports account sign-in for Saved Garden membership, and explains what the current service collects, uses, and intentionally avoids storing.

1. Effective date and scope

Effective date: June 4, 2026. This Privacy Policy describes how Pomoseed handles information when you use the Pomoseed website, free timer, account sign-in, and Saved Garden membership.

The current public service does not require an account for the free timer. Saved Garden membership stores account-backed completed focus sessions for eligible signed-in users.

2. Information you provide

Anonymous timer use does not require a name, email address, account, or payment method. Today's chores, active timer recovery state, and basic timer preferences are saved in browser storage on your device so they can survive refresh. Completed timer history is not saved anonymously.

When you sign in, Pomoseed stores the account and session records needed to keep you signed in. When you use Saved Garden membership, Pomoseed stores saved focus-session rows for your account.

3. Service changes

If Pomoseed materially changes the information it collects or how that information is used, this Privacy Policy will be updated to describe those categories, purposes, retention, service providers, and available rights.

Pomoseed does not store full card numbers or bank credentials. Payment details are handled by the payment provider.

4. Analytics and logs

Pomoseed analytics accepts only coarse events such as dashboard opens, timer mode selections, timer starts and completions, active timer recovery, sound playback starts, Auto Flow toggles, sign-in sheet opens, coarse account or access status buckets, coarse device class, viewport bucket, display mode, and a random session-scoped anonymous analytics identifier. It does not accept task text, free-form notes, exact durations, exact viewport size, full user agent, sound ids, sound mixes, stable account identifiers, or personal productivity history.

Pomoseed may forward accepted analytics events to a service provider from the server. Browser autocapture, session replay, feature flags, person profiles, and identify calls are not enabled in the current service.

Hosting and security infrastructure may process standard technical data such as request metadata, browser information, IP address, timestamps, and error logs when needed to operate, protect, debug, and improve the service.

5. Cookies and browser storage

Today's chores, recent unfinished-chore review state, active timer recovery state, and basic timer preferences are written to localStorage on your device so the current browser can recover after refresh or tab eviction. Recent unfinished prior-day chores are kept only for a bounded review window, and dismissed review state stores date keys without chore text. Timer preferences include selected focus duration, Auto Flow, active sound, and radio volume. Completed anonymous productivity history is not written to IndexedDB, cookies, cloud storage, or analytics payloads.

A theme preference and a random anonymous analytics session identifier may be stored in sessionStorage so the page can keep current-session interface state and group coarse analytics for the same browser session. Coarse analytics may distinguish mobile, tablet, desktop, browser, and standalone app contexts without storing exact screen dimensions. Pomoseed may also use essential technical storage that is necessary to deliver the site or protect the service.

6. How information is used

Pomoseed uses current service information to provide the timer, preserve the browser-local chore list and current-visit interface state, operate the website, prevent abuse, maintain security, troubleshoot issues, and improve the product.

Pomoseed does not sell personal information and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

7. Service providers

Pomoseed may use service providers for hosting, infrastructure, coarse product analytics, security, logging, support, and product maintenance.

These providers may process information only as needed to provide their services to Pomoseed or as described in their own terms and privacy notices.

8. Retention, export, and deletion

Anonymous completed timer history disappears when the current page session ends because it is not intentionally retained by Pomoseed. Browser-local chores keep today's list and recent unfinished review state only; older chore buckets and completed prior-day chores are pruned by the app. Active timer recovery state and timer preferences remain on your device until you clear site data for Pomoseed through your browser controls.

Technical logs and security records are retained only as long as reasonably needed for operations, debugging, abuse prevention, legal compliance, or security. If regional privacy request rights apply to your use, Pomoseed will handle those requests as required by law.

9. Your privacy choices

You can clear Pomoseed's browser-local anonymous data through your browser's site data controls.

For privacy questions or requests, contact support@pomoseed.com.

10. Children, security, and changes

Pomoseed is not directed to children under 13 or to anyone below the minimum age required by local law. Do not use Pomoseed if you are not allowed to provide the information required for the feature you are using.

Pomoseed uses reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, but no internet service can guarantee perfect security. Material policy changes should be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
